Once again, we stand on the brink of uncertainty, staring into the future with our hearts racing, unsure of where we are going or what we are going to do.
We had turned in our move out notice, but have now decided to stay in our house. It is expensive, but structurally sound, secure, convenient, and ultimately, we simply don't have the ability to move right now.
We have been considering moving to Oklahoma City, but with family and finances, leaving Lubbock right now would be too much. So, we are resolved to sell our extra stuff, rid ourselves of clutter, and prepare for the future. We have to start living in the moment- prepared for the future.
We are still losing our roommate in a few months, but we have a little time to look for someone else, and look for jobs. We will figure it out, or we won't, but we are tired of living in the fear that things are going to get worse, and embrace the future with our heads held high.
