Owlish Mask (No. 1)
Yarn: 4 Medium
(I used “I Love This Yarn” in ‘Toasted Almond’ (color A) and ‘Linen’ (color B).) (Substitutions are encouraged, just make sure the size is what you’re looking for)
Hook: H (Cool handmade hook handle is optional, but encouraged..)

Pattern:
Step 1: Chain 21, join with slip stitch to first chain to form ring.
Step 2: Chain 23, join with slip stitch to the 3rd chain of the 23 (or the 21st chain from your hook.) This will leave 2 chains in the middle, with a loop of 20 on either side.
Step 3: 1-SC in each of the center chains.
Step 4: 40-SC into the first loop. Space them evenly around the loop.
Step 5: 1-SC in each of the center chains
Step 6: 40-SC into the second loop. Space them evenly around the loop.
Do not join.
Step 7: Sc2Tog in the center stitches
Step 8: Sc2tog in the first two stitches of the first loop
Step 9: SC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 10: HdC in each of the next 2 stitches
Step 11: DC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 12: TrC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 13: 2-TrC in each of the next 2 stitches (4 stitches total)
Step 14: TrC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 15: DC in next stitch
Step 16: 2-DC in next stitch
Step 17: DC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 18: 2-HdC in next stitch
Step 19: HdC in each of the next 9 stitches
Step 20: SC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 21: Sc2Tog in the next 2 stitches
Step 22: Sc2Tog in the last 2 stitches of the first loop
Step 23: Sc2Tog in the center 2 stitches
Step 24: Sc2Tog in the first 2 stitches of the second loop
Step 25: Sc2Tog in the next 2 stitches
Step 26: SC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 27: HdC in each of the next 9 stitches
Step 28: 2-HdC in next stitch
Step 29: DC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 30: 2-DC in next stitch
Step 31: DC in next stitch
Step 32: TrC in each of the next 3 stitches
Step 33: 2-TrC in each of the next 2 stitches (4 TrC total)
Step 34: TrC in each of the next 3 stitches
