Operation: Organize - Home Management Notebook

The Home Management Notebook is well under way! I have the binder all set up, the fancy divider/tabs made, and a list of each page that will go into each section. Over the weekend, I hope to get the basic page templates finished and ready to personalize!   (For more information, see my previous post, and visit "The Nest Effect" for and amazing introduction!)

Here is what I have finished so far:
Instead of buying tabbed dividers, I used things I already had. So, I got out my lovely scrapbook paper, blank card stock, and some page slicks; and I made my own dividers!  They don't have the tabs, but I think they will work well, as is. 


The pretty paper was much too large, so I traced the card stock onto the back and then cut out each sheet. The binder I am using has clear plastic pockets on the front and back, & I have 10 categories in my notebook, so I needed 12 pages. 



Next, I got some cool fonts, typed up the title & heading of each category. I printed them on regular printer paper, then cut them all out to paste onto each divider. 


NOTE: I found this process worked best but making each divider, picking which went with each category, and then making a sticky note with the number on it until I got the headings made.  

I tried to pick fonts that sort of went with the categories theme and the paper I chose. Like most things, I probably over thought this a bit, but I am very happy with the result.
