Yesterday evening, March 22, the Lubbock Christian University Moody Auditorium hosted the Second Annual Lanier Lecture. Mark Lanier, being quite a remarkable individual himself, sponsored the esteemed Dr. Alister McGrath to journey all the way from Europe to Lubbock, for the purpose of sharing with us the contrast of modern and post-modern religious perspectives through the lens of his latest book.
I could say more, but in all honesty, it has been stated before, and better.
Please checkout the links below for more information on Dr. McGrath and his insightful defense of God, articulate arguments for the existence of a Creator, and the sincere description of the life of a man who has brought the truth of the spirit to so many post modern minds, C.S. Lewis.
