"Oh, The Places You'll Go!"

I do not think that Dr. Seuss had our Insanity Trip in mind when he wrote his timeless classic, yet I always think of that phrase every year around this time. As spring is ending and the graduation/wedding season begins, as we prepare for our travels, I am reminded that we all have places to go!

This year, our travels take us farther than ever we have driven before!

Oklahoma!
The wind! The Plains! The Native Americans! The gently rolling hills, the BRAUMS, the changing of the natural landscape from "Desolate" to "Not Quite as Barren"...

Missouri!
I don't know all that much about Missouri! However, I do know that they have actual TREES, amazingly nice and generous people, and my darling roommate, RaShawn! If really doesn't matter what else they have, that is good enough for me... (Unless they have something like flying-flesh-eating lizards or something, then I may need to rethink this... and repack.)

Illinois!
I don't know much about Illinois either, just that they have a town called Effingham.
That is where we are staying one night.
I hear they also have some trees, and that further north there is great pizza.

Ohio!
Last time I was in Ohio, I was having a terrible time, I am sure it is a lovely state and I am looking forward to staying there again for several days, seeing the state, and eating at PANERA!
Also, yay for the only vacation we get on this trip and a fancy hotel!

Michigan!
Oh, Michigan! Oh Michigan! Your the closest to Canada I've ever been!
I love Michigan! From the green trees, to the strange lakes and freakishly quick scorching summer sun, Michigan is great! (So long as you don't look too closely at the poverty, violence, and corruption!)

Now, reverse those and you will have our journey back again!
Oh The Places We Will GO!   So much still to do before we can leave, I must sign off!
Don't worry, I will write more very soon!
